History has been and will always be a part of our lives as Filipinos. Our country has thousands of islands and rich history.

Since then, our country has experienced so much. From the early settlers to the foreign conquerors. We have been under the jurisdiction of the Spaniards from 1521-1898.

Within those years of colonization, there were various revolutions that occurred. From the written up to the actual revolution, it all took place.

Starting off with Jose Rizal, the Philippine Hero who fought the Spaniards through his writing up until the Kataas-taasan, Kagalang-galangan, Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan(KKK) led by Andres Bonifacio.

KKK was founded by the members of the La Liga Filipina that was founded by Jose Rizal himself. Since the La Liga Filipna was more of the written revolution, while the KKK was more of the strategic battle recourse.

During the reign of the KKK there were two leaders -- Emilio Aguinaldo situated for Cavite and Andres Bonifacio situated for Manila. After the rigorous battle between the Spaniards, our forefathers were successful in redeeming the country.

However, with this lack of center for authority a problem sprung into action. A leader must be chosen to lead the Filipinos.

Since Andres Bonifacio was the leader of the KKK it was supposedly rightful to grant him the position but there were a lot of oppositions. Leading them to elect Emilio Aguinaldo instead.

After this, Andres Bonifacio was allegedly killed by Aguinaldo. Later on, a letter written by Aguinaldo himself addressed to Jose P. Santos was found.

The said letter stated that Aguinaldo admitted he was the one who ordered to kill Bonifacio. Wherein he continued the plan of the council to depose Bonifacio, stating that there were two loyal generals who prompted him to continue such act for the good of the country.

It is a sad reality that even in the earliest time there were discrepancies and false judgement. May the decisions we make in the future be of good intent and not of emotional basis.
